Who is James Angus and what is ejangi?
Over the past ten years I have been helping people solve problems using the internet. I've designed websites to help add some punch to a promotional campaign, built applications to make a business process more efficient and even designed corporate networks to help teams of people communicate. You can just about bet that if it's connected to the internet, I've been working with it.
I am currently employed by SU QLD - a not-for-profit bringing hope to a young generation. At SU QLD I utilise the web to better engage with our supporters, volunteers and the general public. They call me the Web Developer, but that doesn't really define my role appropriately — the work I do is far broader than the title suggests. On any given day you'll find me photographing camp directors, capturing video testimonials from School Chaplains, chatting with the public online, keeping supporters and staff up-to-date through e-newsletters, designing appeals and making online donations easier for people.
It is a unique place that has taught me just how important relationships, communication and the art of conversation are in a technology and self enthralled world.
What's with the logo!?

The ejangi logo includes six very important words, which represent the evolution of an online brand:
- Design: First impressions last.
- Develop: Function is key to an engaging experience.
- Deploy: The launch of your website is the perfect opportunity for publicity.
- Iterate: You read the newspaper everyday because there's always something new.
- Integrate: With social networks or even your current business software.
- Cultivate: Return On Investment is completely possible on the internet.
